Would you like to join the news team?  The Butter Stick is now hiring free-lance writers for absolutely no wage.  If you like writing satire, being humorous, telling lies, and are good at it, please contact us.

We’ll expect you to give us a sample news story, which we will review and hopefully split our sides laughing at. If it’s worthy of publishing as a BS story, which is saying a lot, we’ll give you a name tag and your very own online desk to work diligently at.

NOTE: Potential staff writers should be regular readers/commentators in order to get considered.

I’d like to apply for a staff writing position. I have a great editorial about the gay agenda, how our country is being dragged down by the cement shoes that are the liberal murderers, and how country can pull together. Get in touch.

Sure, Mr. Hartsock.

I would like to apply for a part-time writing position with no pay. It would be a step up for me. I enjoy writing political satire and satire on current events, great and small. I have been writing satire elsewhere for free and would like to diversify my no wage writing career.

I find this website a major waste of time. I just read a line of this conservative garbage and my IQ dropped down to George Bush status. If you want to write satire articles go work for Fox News. If i where you i wold shut down this site for good so you cant plague everyone with horribly written material and liberal bashes. And what person in the right mind would ever write for such a conservative satire website anyway i guess people who like cheap dry humor and are between 10 and 20 years old. Jesus Out!
